THE BRAINBUSTER DECK

Effect

A deck of cards are shown both back and front. A spectator is invited to look at the faces of the deck and think of any one of the cards he sees. The performer places the deck behind his back and apparently reverses one of the cards in the deck. The deck is now brought to the front again and the spectator is asked to name the card he is thinking of. When he names the card, the performer spreads the deck, backs up, and one card only is seen to be face up.

It is the very card the spectator has named. The deck is now turned face up and the card the spectator has named is seen to be the only blue card in a red backed deck (or the only red backed card in a blue backed deck, depending upon which deck you have received).

That is a brief and simple description of the effect but you can even make it more stronger. At the beginning place a face down card on the table, mention it as your prediction. At the end of the above described effect, you now turn over the prediction card placed on the table, it is the spectator’s thought of card!!

Please Note:

·         No equivoque or magician’s choice is used.

·         Spectator can think of any one of the cards from the deck, which is spread face up on the table.

·         Magician never asks a single question to know or to guess the identity of the thought of card before             reversing a card at his back.

·         No memory work involved.

·         The deck is custom made and heavily gimmicked, still can be shown front and back, will do most of the work for you.
